Happy dog.
Who wouldn’t be happy with this great weather and green grass! Thank you, Lord, for the day you’ve made.

My ironing board cover was getting pretty used. So I found a good tutorial on Pinterest and some super cute fabric.

Much better! And it literally took me less than 20 minutes! Makes ironing a little more exciting now. :)
Happy Easter! Jesus Christ is Risen!
We watched this video at church this morning and being the Twitter-nerd that I am, I wanted to share.
This weekend was the third year in a row that I ran the State Farm 5K in Lincoln.
The first time, I ran with Patricia and Shelley (read here) in the rain.
The second time, I ran with Ronny (read here) in the snow.
This year, it was almost too hot! I ran with Ronny, Shelley and Kim and even though I finished my slowest time of the three years, it was still a great day for running.
My excuse is that I hadn’t ran for over two weeks – whoops!
But here are my results anyhow.

I’ve been making hand-sewn baby gifts for awhile now, and after some inspiration from friends to sell them, I’ve made a small stockpile and have posted them on Etsy to sell.
So I wanted to share some of the burp clothes that I’ve made, and if you need a baby gift, let me know! I have them listed in pairs, but would be willing to sell one or numerous together, or can make custom orders.
Feel free to check out my Etsy store, Little Birdie Basics!
Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. – John 12: 44-46
If everything that happened in Vegas, stayed in Vegas, I wouldn’t have anything to blog about!
Ronny and I were invited to make the trip to Vegas with some AGR friends and their wives, as well as a few bachelor friends. There were eleven of us in total, and we stayed at the Monte Carlo resort.
When these guys all get together, they go a little crazy, but we had such a great time getting all caught up and being together. A lot like college again!
We had a great time on Saturday when Mikey rented a 15 passenger van and we went out to Hoover Dam.
We accomplished everything on my list…walking the strip, riding the New York, New York roller coaster, going to Hoover Dam, seeing the KA` by Cirque du Soleil show, seeing the water show at the Bellagio, going to the original Vegas on Fremont street, playing a little Roulette, and dancing in the club at Mandalay Bay!
Viva Las Vegas!
