Today, back home in Colorado, is the Marshall Frasier Beef Symposium put on by the Colorado Livestock Association. This symposium is in honor of my Gramps, who passed away from cancer almost two years ago. I wish like crazy I could be there, but because of my job and the busy time of year, it just couldn’t work to drive out there in the middle of the week.
Here is Gramps and I around two years ago when he received his Volunteer of the Year award. I was so proud of him. I loved the look on his face when we surprised him by showing up at this event.
Gramps was a rancher and a true agriculturist. He would be proud of the fact that my daily grind includes defending the ag industry. I know I’ll get to tell him all about it someday.
Miss you, Gramps!

He would be so very proud of you, Kels, as you share that same passion to promote agriculture! He knew you had "it" in you! Love you, MOM xo
Several speakers paid tribute to Marshall in their remarks. I think he would be proud to have producers gather for educational enrichment and to share ideas.
Thinking of you girl! I remember this day when you called!
